Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2026 ,The NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2026 is responsible for conducting the centralized common counseling for the 2026-27 academic session. This process governs admissions to MBBS and BDS courses across several types of institutions in Rajasthan, including Government Medical/Dental Colleges, Government Society Medical Colleges (RajMES), RUHS CMS, RUHS CDS, ESIC Medical College, and Private Medical/Dental Colleges.
The counseling process facilitates entry into two primary undergraduate programs:
Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS): a 4.5 year course followed by a one-year compulsory rotatory medical internship.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS): A 4-year training program followed by a one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
The Rajasthan state counseling is designed to be a streamlined, digital-first process:
Centralized Authority: All allotments for State Quota seats (including Management/NRI seats) are made by the Admission Board; no admissions are permitted at the individual college level.
Online Format: There are four rounds of allotmentβRound 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. Notably, all four rounds are conducted online, and no offline rounds will be held.
Merit-Based Allotment: Allotments are strictly governed by the candidate's NEET UG 2026 All India Merit, the choices/preferences filled by the candidate, and the state's reservation policy.
Provisional Admission: All allotments remain provisional until the physical verification of original documents and medical fitness at the allotted college.
Mandatory Joining: Candidates who are allotted a seat must report in-person to the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, to submit documents and deposit the one-year tuition fee.
Bond Conditions: Candidates selected for Government seats (excluding Management/NRI) must sign a bond of βΉ10.0 lakhs, committing to complete the course and serve the State Government for two years post-completion.
Choice Filling: Choices are round-specific. Candidates must fill fresh choices for every round they wish to participate in, as previous choices are "scraped off"
Eligibility is determined by several clauses under "Other Eligibility Criteria":
Rajasthan Residents (Bonafide):
Candidates whose natural parents have resided in Rajasthan for the last 10 years, and the candidate has studied in the state for at least 5 years during that period.
Bonafide residents of Rajasthan who are currently studying in other states are also eligible.
Government Employees/Defense Personnel: Sons and daughters of serving or retired employees of the Government of Rajasthan, Rajasthan state cadre officers, or Defense/Para-Military personnel of Rajasthan origin are eligible.
Other States (Clause XI): Candidates not covered under the primary residency/service clauses (I to X) are eligible to participate but will only be considered for allotment against vacant seats (Govt./Management/NRI) after the State Merit list is exhausted during or after Round 3.
NRI Candidates: Candidates with NRI eligibility under Clause XI will be considered for NRI seats in all rounds according to applicable norms.

To participate, all eligible candidates must register on the official websites (www.rajugneet2026.com or the Medical Education Department portal).
Two-Part Application: Candidates must complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the online application form to be eligible for counseling.
Non-Refundable Fee: A registration fee of βΉ2,500 is required for General candidates, while SC, ST, and ST-STA candidates of Rajasthan domicile pay βΉ1,500.
Security Deposit: Beyond the application fee, candidates must deposit a refundable security amount before the choice-filling stage. This amount varies significantly: βΉ50,000 for Government seats, βΉ2,00,000 for Management seats in Government societies, and βΉ5,00,000 for Private Medical Colleges or NRI seats.
