Conducted by the Assam state government in collaboration with MCC, the counselling facilitates admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses exclusively in government medical colleges within Assam, as the state does not have private medical colleges. The process ensures a fair and transparent seat allocation based on NEET PG merit scores, allowing eligible candidates to secure their PG medical education in Assam’s reputed government institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified NEET PG 2026.
• Indian nationals, PIOs, or OCI candidates are eligible.
• MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or NMC.
• Completed compulsory 12-month rotatory internship.
• Assam domicile or MBBS degree from a Govt. Medical College in Assam.
• Valid registration with AMC or NMC.
• In-Service: 1+ year service in remote/difficult areas gives up to 9% bonus marks.

• NEET PG Scorecard & Admit Card.
• MBBS Degree / Provisional Certificate.
• Internship Completion Certificate.
• NMC / AMC Registration Certificate.
• Class 10th Certificate (for Age Proof).
• Assam Domicile / PRC Certificate (if applicable).
• Caste / Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD), if applicable.
• Passport-size photographs.
• For Bonus Marks Claims: Signed Appendix-II, appointment letter, charge reports, and service certificate.
