Eligibility is divided into distinct categories based on your residency and schooling.
To be considered a "Local" of DNH & DD, you typically need to satisfy one of the following:
Medical: Only available if you qualify for the All India Quota (15%) via MCC counseling, or if seats remain vacant after the UT merit list is exhausted.
Technical: Admissions for "Other States" are generally limited to specific quotas or private/self-financed seats, provided you have a valid JEE Main score (for B.E.) or relevant entrance merit.
The UT follows Central Government reservation norms, with specific weightage for local tribal populations:
ST (Scheduled Tribes): High percentage of seats are reserved for local tribal candidates.
SC (Scheduled Castes): As per UT norms.
EWS & PwD: Horizontal reservation as per national guidelines.
You must have scanned copies for the online application and originals for physical verification:
School Leaving Certificate (TC) from the last attended school.
Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card or Voter ID.
Passport Size Photographs (same as used in the entrance exam application).
The process is entirely digital and follows these stages:
