The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the UGMAC-2026 for admission to the first year of MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses.
Basis of Admission: Merit list based on the NEET (UG)-2026 scores.
Scope: Admissions are for State Quota seats in government colleges and all seats in private medical/dental colleges in Bihar.
Authority: All decisions made by the Board through the Controller of Examination are final.
To be eligible for State Quota seats, applicants must be Indian citizens and meet at least one of the following criteria:
Parents are permanent residents of Bihar.
Parents are registered refugees in Bihar.
Parents are employees of the Government of Bihar.
Parents are Central Government/Public Sector employees posted in Bihar.
Parents are United Nations employees currently posted in Bihar.
Applicants from other states are eligible for admission into Private Medical and Dental colleges only.
They must be Indian citizens and NEET (UG)-2026 qualified.
Academic: Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.
General/EWS: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB.
SC/ST/EBC/BC: Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB. (Note: B.V.Sc. & A.H. requires 47.5% for these categories ).
Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2026 (Born on or before December 31, 2008).
Seats are reserved for various categories as per Bihar Government rules:
SC: 16% | ST: 1% | EBC: 18% | BC: 12% | RCG (Girls): 3% | EWS: 10% .
DQ (Disabled Quota): 5% horizontal reservation.
Women's Reservation: 33% horizontal reservation for female candidates in each category (Bihar residents only)
Candidates must present the following original documents during verification:
NEET (UG)-2026 Admit Card and Score Card.
Passing Certificate, Mark sheet, and Admit Card of Matric (10th).
Passing Certificate, Mark sheet, and Admit Card of Intermediate (12th).
Residential Certificate (issued by CO/Revenue Officer).
Caste Certificate (if applicable).
Six passport-size photographs (same as used in NEET application).
Downloaded printout of UGMAC-2026 Online Application Form (Part A & B).
Aadhar Card.
DQ/EWS/SMQ Certificates (if claiming reservation).
Check Slip and Biometric Identification Report Form (1 copy).
The application and choice filling process for Round 1 and Round 2 is a single-time activity.
Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and click on "Online Portal of UGMAC-2026".
Authenticate using NEET (UG)-2026 Roll No., Name, and Date of Birth.
Verify identity via OTP sent to your registered mobile and email.
Create a password and generate your UGMAC ID.
Personal Info: Login and enter personal details, then click "Save & Continue".
Contact Details: Enter permanent and correspondence addresses.
Educational Info: Enter 10th and 12th-grade details.
Uploads: Upload a high-contrast color photograph and your signature.
Review all entries for accuracy.
Once satisfied, click "Final Submit" to proceed to payment.
Counselling Fee (Non-refundable): * General/BC/EBC/EWS: ₹1,200.
SC/ST/DQ: ₹600.
Note: For private colleges, everyone pays ₹1,200.
Security Deposit (Refundable):
Govt. Colleges: ₹10,000 (General) / ₹5,000 (SC/ST/BC/EBC).
Private Medical: ₹2,00,000.
Private Dental: ₹50,000.
Payment must be made online via Card/Net banking/UPI.
Fill in your preferred courses and colleges in order of preference.
Lock your choices before the deadline. If not locked manually, they will auto-lock at the deadline.
