The Jammu & Kashmir NEET PG Counselling is the official centralized window for medical aspirants seeking postgraduate admissions into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.Managed entirely online, this admission process covers 50% of the State/UT Quota seats in government medical colleges and 100% of seats in private medical institutions across the region. The remaining 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are governed separately by the central Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification - Candidates are required to possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956
• Certificate of Registration - Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional). This registration is supposed to be issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI)
• Internship - As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidates must complete their one year internship

Document Required

NEET PG Documents: Admit Card and Official Result/Scorecard showing All India Rank.

MBBS Qualification: MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional Passing Certificate. Mark sheets of all MBBS professional examinations (1st, 2nd, and final year).

Internship Completion Certificate: Issued by the head of the institution confirming completion of the 12-month compulsory rotatory internship on or before the NMC deadline.

Medical Registration Certificate: Permanent or Provisional Registration issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC) or J&K State Medical Council.

Proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation / 10th Class Diploma/Certificate or Mark Sheet.

10+2 (12th Class) Certificate & Mark Sheet.

Government Photo ID: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License.

Domicile & Service Proofs Domicile Certificate: Domicile Certificate of UT of Jammu & Kashmir or UT of Ladakh issued by the competent revenue authority.

No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required specifically for in-service medical officer candidates from the Health and Medical Education Department.

Difficult Area / Rural Service Certificate: If claiming weightage under rural/difficult area service rules.

Category & Special Reservation Certificates (If Applicable) All certificates must be issued by the competent authority on the prescribed J&K UT format:

1.Reserved Category Certificate (SC / ST / RBA / ALC / IB / PSP / Social Caste / EWS).

2.Person with Disability (PwD) / Disability Certificate.

3.Children of Defence Personnel / Police Personnel Certificate (CDP / JKPM), if applying under relevant quota.

How to apply

KEA PG Medical / Dental Admission Step-by-Step Sequence

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

• Qualifying Exam: You must have scored at or above the qualifying cut-off score in NEET-PG or NEET-MDS.
• Category & Domicile Eligibility: Ensure you meet one of the KEA eligibility clauses (Clauses a through z) for the seat category you are targeting (Government, Private, Minority, NRI, or Other).
• Non-Karnataka Candidates: Eligible for General (UR) cut-off seats (such as Open/OPN quota).

Step 2: Complete Online Registration & Profile Creation

1. Go to the KEA PG portal: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pget2025.
2. Enter your NEET-PG / NEET-MDS Roll Number to fetch your NBE details (Name, Parent's Name, DOB, NBE Score, etc.).
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to your registered NBE mobile number.
4. Fill in the required details:
   • Applicable Eligibility Clause Code (e.g., Clause a, b, c, etc.).
   • Reservation Category / Minority status (if applicable).
   • Educational Qualification & Contact Information.
5. Upload the required image files:
   • Candidate's Photograph
   • Signature
   • Left Thumb Impression

Step 3: Pay the Registration Fee Online

Pay the non-refundable registration fee through the online payment gateway based on your category:

Step 4: Verify, Declare, and Submit

1. Review all entered details carefully. You can edit/modify your application details any number of times before checking the Declaration box.
2. Once verified, accept the Declaration and click Submit. (Note: After final submission, no further edits or alterations are allowed)
3. Print & Save: Save a copy of your finalized application form, Application ID / Login ID, and password for future verification and counselling rounds.

Step 5: Document Verification (Slot Booking & Offline Attendance)

• Clause 'a' & Clause 'y' candidates: Do not need to attend offline verification unless claiming NRI Ward or Religious Minority quota.
• All other Clauses (b, c, d, e, f, g, z):
  1. Log in to the KEA website to book a verification slot.
  2. Visit the KEA Office in Malleshwaram, Bangalore on your allotted date/time slot.
  3. Bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies:
     • Printout of filled KEA Registration Form
     • Valid Photo ID Proof
     • NEET-PG / NEET-MDS Admit Card & Scorecard
     • 10th / SSLC Marks Card (Date of Birth proof)
     • 12th / 2nd PUC Marks Card
     • MBBS / BDS Marks Cards (All years) & Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate
     • Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate
     • State/Central Medical or Dental Council Registration Certificate
     • Mandatory Undertaking Affidavit (Annexure 7 on e-stamp paper)
     • Category/Caste/Income or Minority/371(j) Certificates (if claiming reservation)

Step 6: Option Entry and Seat Allotment

1. After successful verification, KEA will publish the list of eligible candidates on their website.
2. Log in with your User ID and Secret Key to enter your college and specialty choices during the Option Entry phase.
3. Track the website regularly for mock results, final seat allotment rounds, and admission orders.
