Kerala NEET PG counselling 2026 The Director of Medical Education, Kerala State conducts Post Graduate Courses in various disciplines. In the previous academic year, a total of 884 seats in P.G. Degree courses are available in the Government Medical Colleges and 16 seats in P.G. Degree courses at RCC, Trivandrum of the State. A total of 681 seats in P.G. Degree courses are also available in the Self financing Medical Colleges of the State.
The National Board of Examination, New Delhi has been notified as the authority to conduct NEET PG-2025. The selection and allotment of candidates in the State Quota seats in P.G Degree course will be made from the Rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on the basis of the NEET PG-2026 rank list prepared by the National Board of Examination, Government of India, subject to satisfying the eligibility condition as in Clause
The Selection and allotment to the All India Quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee under the Director General of Health Services, Government of India New Delhi. All the conditions mentioned in the prospectus for the year are applicable to All India Quota candidates (AIQ) as well. The candidate who is taking admission to self-finance medical colleges also comes under the purview of the prospectus only in terms of admission-related procedures. The whole prospectus conditions are applicable to all the candidates who are taking admission in government medical colleges, including AIQ candidates.
In addition to the above, allotment to the entire seats in Non-Government Medical Colleges/Institutions including Minority Quota and NRI Quota seats will also be made through common counseling conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala from the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on the basis of the NEET PG 2026 conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi subject to the eligibility conditions in . The candidates are requested to visit the NMC/KUHS website for information regarding the status of seats (whether recognized or permitted) before taking admission.

• General Quota: Seats open to all qualified NEET PG candidates.
• NRI/Management Quota: Reserved for NRI, management, or sponsored candidates in private colleges, as per the state's policies.
• Keralite Quota: Reservation for candidates with domicile or residing in Kerala, which often includes merit and reservation seats.
• Category Quotas: Reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories as per government reservation policies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 exam.
• MBBS Degree: Recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Internship: Internship completed or scheduled to be completed before the start of the academic session.
• Citizenship: Indian citizens or candidates eligible under residency policies.
• Domicile: Preferably candidates with domicile or residence proof of Kerala, especially for state quota seats.
• Registration: MBBS registration with any State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
