Goa NEET PG 2026 counselling serves as the official state-level gateway for medical graduates aiming to secure MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats at Goa Medical College, Bambolim. Managed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) using NEET PG or NEXT merit rankings, the centralized admission system operates under a four-tier priority framework that prioritizes local institution graduates while offering a streamlined, choice-based allocation process. Eligible aspirants must fulfill mandatory internship requirements and navigate this single-window counseling process, which integrates standard course durations, a compulsory one-year government service bond, and clear academic guidelines for studying at the state's premier medical institute.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification:  Must possess an M.B.B.S. degree from Goa University or an NMC-recognized institution.

Exam Qualification:  Must qualify NEET-PG / NEXT exam as per specified NMC guidelines.

Internship:  Must complete a 1-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship on or before the specified cutoff date.

Registration: Must hold a valid registration with NMC, MCI, or any State Medical Council.

Priority Groups: Applicants are prioritized in merit according to their graduation/internship location.

Group-I: Completed MBBS and full internship at Goa Medical College.

Group-II: Graduated from Goa Medical College with internship outside.

Group-III: Graduated outside Goa Medical College with internship at Goa Medical College.

Group-IV: Graduated and completed internship outside Goa Medical College (including FMGs).

Document Required

• NEET PG Exam Documents:  Copy of NEET PG Admit Card, Rank Card, and Score Card.
• Academic Certificates:  MBBS Degree / Provisional Passing Certificate, along with Statement of Marks obtained in First, Second, and Third (Part I & II) MBBS examinations.
• Internship & Registration Proof:  One-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate and Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI, NMC, or a State Medical Council.
• Identity & Personal Proofs:  Copy of Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, and passport-size photographs matching the application form.
• Medical & Character Clearances:  Medical Fitness Certificate from the Medical Board of Goa Medical College, Certificate of complete Hepatitis-B vaccination, Bonafide Certificate, and Character/Conduct Certificate.
• Academic Records:  MBBS Attempt Certificate and, for non-Goa University candidates, a Provisional Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (or FMGE screening test result for FMGs).
• Category & Reservation (if applicable):  Valid certificates for SC, ST, OBC, or PwD categories, as well as an NOC/relieving letter from the current employer if currently employed.
