About Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling:

The Andhra Pradesh PG Medical Admission Counselling for the 2026–27 academic year, conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, manages seat allocations for both the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and the Management Quota (MQ) across private unaided medical colleges in the state. MQ seats are systematically categorized into Subcategory-1 (S1A for open All-India merit and S1B reserved for AP local candidates), Subcategory-2 (S2 for NRI candidates), and Subcategory-3 (S3 for Institutional Preference). The entire multi-round process (Phase-I, Phase-II, Phase-III Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy) operates online based on NEET PG-2026 rank and eligibility criteria, with a mandatory one-year Senior Residency requirement at the assigned college for all candidates admitted under the Management Quota.

Eligibility Criteria

Degree: Must hold an MBBS degree recognized by NMC/MCI.

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs): Must have cleared the FMGE (Screening Test).

Internship: Must complete the 1-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship.

Registration: Must have a valid medical registration with the AP State Medical Council or NMC.

NEET PG 2026 Cut-Offs:

General / EWS: 50th percentile

General - PwBD: 45th percentile

SC / ST / OBC: 40th percentile

Management Quota Subcategories:

Subcategory-1 (S1A): Open to candidates across All India.

Subcategory-1 (S1B): Reserved exclusively for AP local candidates.

Subcategory-2 (S2): NRI / Foreign candidates (requires valid documentation & affidavit).

Subcategory-3 (S3): Institutional preference (college alumni, employees, or children of employees).

Local Status (Giddalur / Siddhartha Medical College alumni / Migrated candidates): 6th to 10th/Inter Study Certificates or MRO Local Status Certificate.

Category / Social Status: Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/BC) & Muslim Minority Certificate.

Category-C (S2 - NRI Quota):

Signed Affidavit (Annexure-II)

NRI's Green Card, Citizenship Card, or Passport

NRI's Bank Statement (last 6 months salary credit) OR Electricity/Gas/Water bill in the NRI's name

(Note: B1/B2, F1/M1, J1 visas and driving licenses are NOT accepted).

Category-C (S3 - Institutional Quota): Sponsorship Certificate from the College Principal/Dean (Annexure-III)
