Chhattisgarh NEET PG counselling 2026 is the official process through which aspiring postgraduate medical students can secure MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats in government medical colleges within the state. Managed by the State Medical College Admission Authority in coordination with MCC, the counselling ensures a transparent seat allocation based on NEET PG merit scores. All eligible candidates seeking admission to government medical colleges in Chhattisgarh must participate in the counselling process.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 examination.
• Indian nationals, PIOs, and OCI candidates are eligible.
• MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or NMC.
• Internship completed or scheduled to be completed within the prescribed period.
• Domicile or permanent residency certificate for Chhattisgarh candidates (if applicable).
• Valid registration with the Chhattisgarh Medical Council or registration to be obtained during counselling.
• Foreign Graduates: Candidates who obtained their medical degree from abroad must have passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE / Screening Test Regulation, 2002).
Additional Eligibility Conditions for NRI Quota Seats
• Status / Sponsorship: The candidate must either be an NRI themselves or be sponsored by an NRI relative up to two generations of direct blood relation (e.g., parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, grandparents) supported by an official genealogy certificate issued by a Tehsildar or higher revenue officer
• OCI Candidates: Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates are also eligible for General Category NRI seats
• Documentation & Financials: Must provide valid foreign residency proof (Green Card, valid passport/visa, employment proof of 181+ days, etc.), bank account statements (NRE/NRI), and proof that the sponsor can pay the fees in foreign currency

• OBC Non-Creamy Layer / Income Exemption Certificate.

• Bonds & Legal Documents:
• Service Bond Undertaking.
• Seat Resignation Affidavit.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC).
