Candidates seeking admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses in Jharkhand must fulfill the applicable eligibility requirements prescribed by the competent authority.

MBBS Qualification & Educational Background:
Passed MBBS from any medical institute or college located in Jharkhand State.
OR
Residents of Jharkhand who were admitted to MBBS courses in Bihar medical colleges in or before the session of Jharkhand State creation and have passed MBBS from those colleges.
OR
Local residents of Jharkhand who are serving Doctors in the State Government, even if the MBBS qualification was completed outside Jharkhand.

Residency Certificate: Must produce a valid Local Resident Certificate issued by any of the following competent authorities:
Circle Officer (C.O.)
Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) (S.D.O.)
Deputy Commissioner (D.C.) of Jharkhand State

Medical Council Registration: Must hold a Permanent or Temporary Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the Jharkhand State Medical Council.
Temporary registration holders must secure permanent registration by the final date of admission to avoid cancellation of admission.

Internship Completion: Must have completed or be going to complete the compulsory rotating internship by 31.07.2026 .
