Uttar Pradesh NEET PG 2026 Counselling | Govt & Private Medical Colleges Seat Allocation

The Uttar Pradesh NEET PG-2026 Counselling is an important admission process conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The counselling is conducted for eligible candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate medical and dental courses such as MD, MS, Diploma, DNB and MDS. Through this process, candidates can seek admission to government and private medical and dental colleges, institutes and universities across Uttar Pradesh. The counselling is based on the NEET PG-2026 examination and allows qualified candidates to participate in the selection and admission process according to the prescribed rules and eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have qualified NEET-PG 2026 / NEET-MDS 2026.

The one-year compulsory internship must be completed.

Candidates who completed MBBS/BDS from Government or Private colleges in Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Government State Quota as well as Private seats.

Candidates from AMU, BHU, AIIMS Raebareli and AIIMS Gorakhpur are not eligible for Government State Quota, but can apply for Private seats.

Candidates who completed MBBS/BDS outside Uttar Pradesh are eligible only for Private seats.

State Quota DNB seats are available only to In-service (PMHS) candidates.

Score card/Rank letter of NEET PG-2026/ NEET MDS-2026

High School Marksheet/Certificate (as proof of date of birth)

Mark sheets of all professional examinations of MBBS/BDS

MBBS/BDS passing out certificate or degree

Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate

Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate (State Medical council /MCI/DCI)

Reservation certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD certificate), if applicable.

How to apply

Online registration only is allowed on the UPNEET website.

Use your NEET-PG Roll Number and the same email ID used during NEET-PG/MDS 2026 registration.

Details like Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name and Date of Birth will be automatically filled from the NBE portal and cannot be changed.

You have to enter details such as domicile, category, sub-category, PMHS/in-service status, MBBS passed from, address, etc.

Pay the ₹3,000 registration fee for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds. The fee is non-refundable.

After successful registration, a registration number will be generated.

Create a password for choice filling and locking and don't share it with anyone.

Download the registration form and fee receipt for future reference.

A separate fresh registration with ₹3,000 fee is required for the Stray Vacancy Round
