Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established on 2008. The Hospital attached to the College is being run from the year 1986, providing health care services to the surrounding villages for more than 30 years. People belonging to the poor socio economic group of the nearby 750 villages including agricultural labourers are getting various health care services from our Hospital.
The Institute is situated in Melmaruvathur near National Highway (NH-45), about 92 km from Chennai and about 70 km before Pondicherry. Since the Hospital is located in the middle, between Chennai and Pondicherry, various nearby towns are benefitted from our Institute. The Institute is managed by Adhiparasakthi Charitabale Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust, Melmaruvathur,Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India.
The Institute has slowly developed from a primary care into Tertiary care provider rendering all health care services including primary, secondary and tertiary care to the society. The hospital has various clinical specialities providing Outpatient and Inpatient services in which, all the services and facilities are provided free of cost. The Hospital is equipped with 700 beds and an extensive area of residential campus for the staff and students.
