Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College, Davangere was established in the year 1965 by Bapuji Educational Association with consensus and permission of Central Government and the Government of Karnataka, Medical Council of India. The institute is also known as JJMMC. Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College, Davangere offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to the students.
