Post- Graduate Institute of Veterinary Education & Research (PGIVER), Jaipur was approved under a 12th five-year plan by Govt. of Rajasthan in 2012 as a constituent PG college of Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner. Prior to this, the institute was functioning as the Apex Centre for disease diagnosis, monitoring, surveillance and further as a research centre. The institute will act as a premier veterinary institution of the State to develop specialized & super specialized human resources in different areas of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and pursue livestock owners/farmer’s need-based research, extension and development activities.
