ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is a private medical college located in Haldia, West Bengal. It was established in 2011. The institute offers undergraduate seats for MBBS(100 seats) and postgraduate course MD (Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry) which are recognised by the Medical Council of India. It is established by an society named Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE). A 500 bedded multispeciality Bidhan Chanda Roy Hospital is attached with it.

CARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy Hospital, Haldia (IIMSAR & BCRHH) was established with a view to create at Haldia a modern education centre as well as health care facilities of excellence to provide value based educational & health service of International standard with a motto to march ahead to build an ideally developed Haldia. In view of the noble objectives of the Institute, it gets support from the people, local Municipal Authorities, Haldia Development Authority as well as from the industrial and business houses in and around Haldia.

The 500 bedded hospital attached to the medical college of IIMSAR is designed to provide the best medical care and attention to each and every patient irrespective of caste, and sex. Despite being new,the hospital is run by the experienced hands and with all latest advancement.
