College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, located amidst the picturesque environs of Jalukie in the Peren district of Nagaland, was established in 2016 as one of the 13 constituent colleges of CAU, Imphal. Offering a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), a professional course spanning 5 and a half years, the college reserves 25 seats for seven states of north-east India (Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim) and allocates five seats (5%) for Veterinary Council of India (VCI) nominees. Situated across 266 acres, the college boasts a livestock farm complex (LFC) and a well-equipped veterinary hospital within the veterinary clinical complex (VCC).
