About the College: Located in the lap of lush green forests of Ananthagiri hills, the Govt medical college, Vikarabad is indeed a place of beauty, serenity and historical significance. With the initiative taken by the honerable Chief Minister, Telangana state, Sri. Kalvakuntla Chandrasekar Rao garu, for providing better medical care in all specialities to rural population of the state, Govt medical college Vikarabad has been established on 6/8/2022. The letter of permission was obtained from NMC on 18/4/2023. The present college building has been constructed during Nizams era and was TB sanatorium which provided cure to lakhs of patients from across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu, built in the year of 1946 and is now renovated as per the present requirements formated by NMC
