Due to its excellent academic and clinical services in the field of Ayurveda, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune has made its presence felt across the country. It is the only Ayurveda College in India to be accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 2016. In 2017, NABH also accredited the institute!
Programs on offer
The College imparts a wide range of courses ranging from Undergraduate programs, Post Graduate programs, Ph. D. Courses, Certificate Courses and Short Term/Long Term Courses for students in the country as well as abroad.
For short term courses for international students, there is a basic course followed by language orientation course. Others courses available are the Certificate Courses in Panchakarma Therapist and Garbhasanskar and a Diploma Course in Yoga. The College has signed a MoU with International Academy of Ayurved, Pune, through which it provides short and long term courses in Ayurveda for overseas students every year.
The Undergraduate Course (BAMS) has an intake of 100 students per year. The Post Graduate courses have an intake of 80 and are available in all 14 subjects. In the Ph. D. courses, students can research in 7 subjects like Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Stri-roga, Samhita Siddhant, Shalyatantra, Swasthavritta and Rognidan.
